One of the area's hottest new polka bands, Isaak Klaus and the Lederhosen Junkies are up-and-coming stars. Polka fans young and old will enjoy their wide array of music ranging from traditional German, Czech, and Polish polkas and waltzes, to Russian folks songs and Eastern European tunes.
The Junkies bring a fresh new take to old time classics and insert their own unique spin on traditional favorite tunes. Just having ended the Oktoberfest season, the band was featured at prestigious festivals such as Wurstfest and the Fredericksburg Oktoberfest. No stranger to Maifests, the Lederhosen Junkies also made an appearance at the Tomball German Heritage Festival. Other prominent highlights from this year include opening for famous polka bands, such as Mollie B and Squeezebox and the Alex Meixner band.
